ABOUT HAKOMI
Hakomi – guided self-discovery
The term "Hakomi" means "Who am I in all these worlds" and comes from the Hopi language and invites you to a deep self-discovery. The method was developed in the 1970s by Ron Kurtz (1934-2011) in the USA and was continuously refined by him until the end of his life. Today, Hakomi is understood as "guided self-discovery" - a process that opens up access to inner knowledge.
A Hakomi session is a mindful and experiential method for exploring the relationship between body, mind and emotions. Here is the outline of the process:
-
Arrival and introduction:
-
The session begins with a short conversation to clarify your concerns or goals.
-
A space is created in which you feel safe and supported.
-
-
Mindfulness exercise:
-
Together we will direct your attention to your body and your inner world.
-
Mindfulness is the key to perceiving subtle inner signals, such as sensations, thoughts or emotions
.
-
-
Exploration:
-
The focus is on a topic that is revealed.
-
Through gentle questions and impulses, I accompany you in deepening your inner experience.
-
These processes are often body-oriented – for example, we may explore sensations, gestures or postures associated with emotional issues.
-
-
Knowledge and Integration:
-
You may become aware of deeper patterns or beliefs that influence your actions and feelings.
-
We are working together to research these and, if necessary, restructure them.
-
The new insights are gently integrated so that they remain accessible in everyday life.
-
-
Diploma:
-
At the end, we reflect on what has been revealed and how you can incorporate it into your life.
-
Price for a 60-minute session: 90€
